Common questions

How do I cancel or manage my Plus subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also tap Manage subscription on the usage screen in the app. Deleting your Waifu Weather account does not cancel the subscription.

I subscribed, but the app still shows the free plan.

Tap Restore purchases on the usage screen or the subscription screen. If that doesn't help, email us.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings with the … button, then Account and Delete account…. You can also email us to ask for it.

How do I delete my usage data?

In Settings, under Privacy and feedback, tap Delete my usage data. You can also turn off Share anonymous usage data there. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept and for how long.

Where does the weather come from?

From Apple Weather or the U.S. National Weather Service; you can choose in Settings under Weather. Official alerts are shown in the issuing agency's own words. Alert notifications cover the United States only.
